RICL™
Guiding Standard

Respect. Integrity. Compassion. Love. Four commitments that govern how an invitation is opened, how possible evidence is treated, how people and places are protected, and how every session is closed.

More than a motto

The method begins
before the technology.

RICL determines how Paranormal Invites™ behaves even when the app records something strange.

It rejects provocation, manufactured drama, careless claims, and treatment of a possible presence as entertainment. It also protects living participants, property, privacy, and the honesty of the research record.

“We don’t chase—we invite.”
01 / THE FOUR PILLARS

What RICL requires in practice

R

01 / RESPECT

Enter without entitlement

Ask rather than demand. Receive silence without escalation. Respect the site, its history, the living people connected to it, and any possible presence that may—or may not—be there.

  • No taunting or provocation
  • No trespassing or destructive access
  • No claim that a presence owes a response
  • Close the invitation as deliberately as it was opened
I

02 / INTEGRITY

Preserve what actually happened

Keep the original record, the baseline, the timing, the silence, the negative outcome, and the ordinary explanations. Let the evidence set the strength of the language.

  • Evidence before interpretation
  • No manufactured or scheduled activity
  • No cherry-picking only dramatic results
  • Unresolved stays unresolved
C

03 / COMPASSION

Treat every story with care

A possible presence is not a prop. A witness is not merely content. Compassion means making room for uncertainty, emotion, grief, fear, belief, and disagreement without exploitation.

  • Do not sensationalize loss or tragedy
  • Protect vulnerable participants
  • Do not force an interpretation onto a witness
  • Consider the effect of publishing an event
L

04 / LOVE

Set a peaceful boundary

The invitation is offered only with positive and peaceful intent. Harmful or malicious intent is rejected, and the session ends with care rather than confrontation.

  • Invite positive, peaceful contact only
  • Reject harmful or malicious intent
  • Keep the human environment calm and safe
  • End with gratitude and a clear closing
02 / RICL THROUGH A SESSION

Before, during, and after

The standard travels with the whole invitation.

RICL is not added after an interesting result. It shapes the location, opening, conduct, evidence handling, interpretation, and closing.

BEFORE

Prepare with respect

  • Use a legal, safe location
  • Obtain permission when required
  • Protect precise location and personal privacy
  • Record a baseline before output
  • Agree on calm session boundaries
DURING

Observe with integrity

  • Ask clearly without provoking
  • Record movement, sound, and contamination
  • Do not reinterpret silence as refusal
  • Keep firsthand observations separate
  • Stop when a participant feels unsafe
AFTER

Review with compassion

  • Close the invitation clearly
  • Preserve every outcome
  • Test ordinary explanations
  • Use the narrowest honest classification
  • Consider consent before publication
03 / THE INVITATION BOUNDARY

THE INVITATION

Positive and peaceful intent only.

This invitation is sent with respect. Please lift the veil and accept with respect. Harmful, malicious, threatening, or unwanted intent is not invited and is explicitly rejected.

Open deliberately◇Observe respectfully◇Close clearly
04 / RESEARCH CONDUCT

RICL protects the evidence too

Ethics and accuracy belong together.

A respectful session that exaggerates evidence is not enough. A technically controlled session that disregards people is not enough either.

01

Do not change rules to create stronger-looking results

Method changes are versioned and evaluated; they are not hidden inside a favorable session.

02

Show observation, interpretation, and claim separately

Readers should know which details were recorded and which meaning was considered afterward.

03

Keep negative and contaminated sessions

Silence and ordinary interference are necessary for honest comparison.

04

Protect participants and private information

No precise GPS is taken, and session data is submitted only by the user’s deliberate green-button choice.

05

Correct unresolved software behavior at its cause

Unexpected behavior is investigated and prevented from quietly changing future evidence.

06

Use language no stronger than the evidence

Interesting, contaminated, explained, unresolved, and correlated are meaningful outcomes without claiming proof.

05 / THE RICL CHECK

Before accepting a conclusion

Four questions

  1. Respect: Did the session honor the people, place, and invitation?
  2. Integrity: Does the complete record support the wording being used?
  3. Compassion: Could sharing or interpreting this cause unnecessary harm?
  4. Love: Was the invitation peaceful, bounded, and properly closed?

Protected methodology: RICL’s ethical and research commitments are public. Exact app thresholds, internal weighting, selection mechanics, security systems, and source code remain proprietary.
